Saturday is the big day!We are excited for the first Race for Reading 5K & fun run!
Same day registration will be available, with Tech Tees available on a
first-come, first served basis.
Runner bags are also included until they are gone.
(If you pre-registered, your shirt & bag are guaranteed!)
Same day registration fees:
Fun Run: $15 individual, $55 for family up to 5 people, $5 for each additional runner.
5K: $20 under 14, $25 individual, $70 for a family up to 5 people, $10 each additional runner.
Race check-in starts at 7:30 am, 5K at 8:00 am, fun run at 8:15, all at the track at Westlake High School. See the tab above for a map of the 5K course.
Stick around after the races for our awards ceremony & prize drawing. We have over 50 prizes to be given out! All runners are eligible for the drawing, but you must be present to win your prize.
Visit with local authors on the field and get a close-up look at the talent we are lucky to enjoy here!

OK, racing friends. If you have registered for the Race for Reading 5K & fun run, you can come pick up your shirt, number and goodie bag the night before the race. That makes it so you can sleep in 10 extra minutes and avoid the check-in line on race day.
